Seagull Explosion are Chris Lord and Laura Nailor, founding members of The Vanguards, playing a mix of acoustic Americana on banjo, fiddle and guitar.

Their repertoire spans a wide range of classic country and bluegrass, from progenitors like Bill Monroe and George Jones, to more modern artists like Laurie Lewis and Gillian Welch. Featuring duo harmonies and dazzling banjo and fiddle solos, this musical couple love to share their passion for American music.
