A trio deeply passionate about all aspects of bluegrass and country music showcasing powerful harmonies and dazzling instrumental solos in what will hopefully be the first of many collaborations!

Seagull Explosion are Chris Lord and Laura Nailor, founding members of The Vanguards, playing a mix of acoustic Americana on banjo, fiddle and guitar. Their repertoire spans a wide range of classic country and bluegrass, from progenitors like Bill Monroe and George Jones, to more modern artists like Laurie Lewis and Gillian Welch.

Paul Armer is a talented up-and-coming country artist that has made many appearances around the UK and featured multiple times on BBC Radio. Having just released his long in the works, self-titled album, Paul has recently been exploring his bluegrass influences, taking inspiration from the likes of Billy Strings and Tony Rice.
